| | Appearance
Gaara is of average height for someone his age, with a petite body frame. At first glance, he may seem frail, but he's very capable of defending himself in hand-to-hand combat. He has blood red colored hair and pale blue eyes. Around his eyes are dark rings, the result of being an insomniac, he also has no eyebrows, in which he was born that way. When he's not dressed for college(which consists of a white button-up dress shirt, black pants, and a maroon tie)he normally wears white, long sleeved shirts and darkly colored jeans. Over his left eye is a crimson marking; the kanji for the word love. Although at first glance it would look to be a tattoo, it is actually a minor scar carved there by Gaara himself.

Gaara's very withdrawn when it comes to interaction with others. He rarely speaks and when he does, it's short and to the point. He's a reserved person, and shy to an extent, but usually painfully honest and blunt with those he speaks with. With a no-nonsense attitude, Gaara is a very wise individual and seems much older than what he actually is. Being born to a wealthy family has made Gaara spoiled, but not in the conventional sense; while he was endowed with many material things, he was never truly shown compassion or other gestures of affection. For the time being Gaara's social life is at a low status. One is most likely to find him at his apartment, the University, or out walking to clear his mind from stressful issues.

Going through difficulties with his delivery Gaara's mother passed shortly after his birth. From this Gaara has a difficult time in dealing with the opposite sex. In a way encounters with female's leaves him to be unnerved due to the lack of experience and therefore it's preferred to be avoided. Since his father was always so busy with his work, he was never able to spend much time with Gaara. It is due to this that Gaara feels responsible for his mother's death and feels as if his father blames him for it. These feelings Gaara has harbored all his life and throughout the years turned into a pain that seems inescapable. Over the years Gaara's relationship with his father became painfully estranged and over time, Gaara began slowly pushing away from his father. In a rebellion against his father's school of choice for him Gaara recently moved to join the University here. Despite his anger that came from this action Gaara's father continues to pay for his son's finances.
